Join Lindsey Melton, functional movement and breathwork specialist, and Kerry Hinds, ERYT & Relax and Renew Certified Trainer, for this 2 hour special workshop to help ease and celebrate the seasonal shift – from summer to Autumn.
As we transition from the fiery and busy energy of Summer to the Autumn energy of introspection and slowing down – sometimes we lament the loss of the longer days and activity. We can embrace the transition by slowing down, breathing deeply and purposefully, and nourishing ourselves with yoga.
Lindsey has been studying and teaching movement for most of her life. Trained in classical ballet from a young age, her journey in dance led her to the GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® Methods which she has been teaching for the past 18 years. In addition to her work in Gyrotonic, she also has a passion for biomechanics and somatic therapy. Breath has always been an integral part of her journey and has offered insights and tools that have proved invaluable in her life.
Kerry has been teaching yoga asana for over 18 years in many different styles to many different people! She believes that a yoga practice is for anyone at any stage of life, health, or healing. She teaches the softer sides of yoga – gentle flow, slow flow, and restorative. Practicing yoga outside is a wonderful way to connect to the earth and our senses – keeping us present and grounded.
